16TH ANNUAL MESSIAH SING-ALONG

The Androscoggin Valley Community Orchestra, the Androscoggin Chorale and the Maine Music Society will present the sixteenth annual Messiah sing-along jointly.
Paul Ross, musical director of the Androscoggin Valley Community Orchestra will lead the orchestra in this community celebration. Members of the Androscoggin Chorale, under the direction of John Corrie, will participate in the chorus. Soloists will be Brian Pfohl, Dan Sorenson, Larry Gilbert, Shelley Rau, Woody Trask, John Corrie, Rebecca Poppke, Susan Strickland, Susan Trask and Annette Bourque.

The sacred oratorio by Handel will be performed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Main Street in Lewiston on Friday, December 15th at 7:30 p.m.

The public is invited to join members of the Androscoggin Chorale in the performance of this spirited rendition of the Christmas story. A limited number of copies of the vocal score will be available at the door.
