CHORALE TO SING MUSIC FOR CHRISTMAS

Lewiston—The Maine Music Society will present two concerts of holiday music on Saturday, December 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of South Paris and Sunday, December 10 at 3:00 p.m. at the Franco-American Heritage Center.  The program, under the direction of John Corrie, will feature Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, sung by the Androscoggin Chorale andaccompanied by Teresa Sepulveda, harp soloist, and Bridget Convey, pianist. Also performing will be the Auburn Methodist Ringers.  French and English carols will complete the festive event.

The Maine Music Society, created in 1991, provides support for the artistic and educational activities of the Androscoggin Chorale and the Maine Chamber Ensemble.  MMS helps fill a vital cultural need in Greater Lewiston/Auburn to enrich the community with the joy of music.
